in partnership with the l.a. choral lab and lighting designer nick davidson, prayers and dances was a night of auditory meditations and movements: a two-part concert that transformed a downtown los angeles warehouse into an audio-visual performance space. a series of large-scale hanging structures provided an ethereal and intimate enclosure underneath which guests were bathed in sound.
